Wayland Economic Development Corporation

The Wayland Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) was developed to bring focus to industry and business needs in the community. The City and WEDC purchased land for an industrial park and erected a spec building as the first structure.  The completed Industrial Park is home to  MD Orthopaedics, Wagler Woodcraft and Kevin Fort Carpentry. WEDC continues to promote business and industry opportunities in Wayland with lots available at a second site just east of the existing one. There is a Wayland Economic Development Revolving Loan Fund available to help existing businesses expand or to develop new business start-up.  Contact City Hall for more information.
